Not with the Z 4X10, but I've run my MAZ 18 NR thru my Sonic 4X10 (Celestion G10L-35's, same as the Marshall 4X10's) many times. GORGEOUS tone...only reason I don't use it all the time is that it's the biggest and heaviest cab I have, and thus the least portable. I imagine a Z 4X10 would be even more present and loud than the Celestions.

There's a 4x10 Z-cab for sale locally, I'm trying to avoid the temptation. Good price that keeps calling to me. I'm trying to be strong. I've been indulging myself by hooking the 2x10 convertible with the 2x10 max-jr combo. It is a huge wonderful sound. I just keep thinking how the Ghia or the RT66 would sound through that 4x10.

The Z 4-10 cab is great!.....like said above, with many amps. Z and others. I foolishly sold mine a while back. I don't regret many sold items, but that is one!

I've been using mine through a mid 80's Marshall 1965B 4x10 with great results. What I like is the Marshall is not overly big or heavy. Not as flubby as my former 2x12. I really dig the pair together. The kicker is I picked up the cab for $200 and the speakers were nicely broken in already. Phil See this thread: ztalk.proboards.com/thread/61797/4x10-maz-jr-nr

I used a Z 4x10 and MAZ 18 NR for quite a while a few years ago. Changes the tone a LOT!
I just got back into the MAZ 18 NR game yesterday (after about a year hiatus from not having one). I still have a Z 4x10, so I'll have to revisit that. BIG tone with those. Same for the Z-Best!
One thing to keep in mind about the Z 4x10. The sound is amazing; however, if you gig regularly then you could look into different speakers to reduce the overall weight. I had a quad of Jensen C10Q's that brought the 4x10 weight down to 40 lbs (pretty light, in my opinion). Not saying you SHOULD do that, but there are options if the weight is a problem!
Having said all of that, I sold the Jensens and am back to the Z speakers. Love them.
