I'm finding the EQ Bypass to be pretty valuable so far. There's some killer OD with it ON instead of getting OD from a pedal. Sounds more organic to me. I can push it further with my KOT if need be. I can see this as either a lead boost, or as a second channel.
How are you using the EQ Bypass, or are you?

I don't use mine a whole lot (maybe I should be), although here's how I set mine up: When dialing in your EQ settings, click on the EQ-bypass first, and set your Cut knob to taste (because at that point it's the only EQ knob that's active). Then click off the EQ-bypass and set your Low, Middle, and Highs. Now you've got EQ control over both modes.
So, how do I actually use my EQ-bypass? Well, when I feel like really ripping the speaker a new one.

I used mine as a solo boost (Mark, there is no Cut knob on a Remedy -are you confusing the Maz18 here?) but if we were really rocking out, I just left it engaged, and used an EP as a solo boost!! I found maxing the Hi V, and working the GV gave me HUGE versatility, and a real ROCK machine

I use it as a solo boost also.

Solo boost or as the song gets bigger. A great piece of advice I picked up here was to engage it and set that tone first. Then put the EQ back in and adjust to taste!

Dial those in first so when you hit the bypass you have the tone you like. Plus once those are set and you bring the pre amp back in you have a lot more options to dial in the tone you want. Makes it more if a two channel amp that way.

DD Of course, this only applies to Remedies with the eq bypass feature. Original version Remedies did not have this, but you certainly are allowed to do as much tweaking of all the knobs as you wish on any version

When I engage my EQ bypass (MAZ 8), the volume jump is too high in my application. Has anyone tried to place a resistor in the switch to decrease it a little ?
