There's not much to say about this amp besides what Dr Z, Brent, Phil, Jake and Frankie have had to say about it. So I figured I'd give it a whirl right quick. It's surely not a Dave Baker or Frankie video....just a sneek peek before the official stuff comes out. Please excuse the slop and clamage. Just a one take, no edit deal. Vintage style 52' RI Tele, PCNS cable, well broken in Celestion Gold...and the Therapy!!

Thanks Mark !
One thing is for sure, this is nothing like I had envisioned when I first placed my order !
However, it is in line with the descriptions so far.
Have fun.

It has a wonderful clean tone....but I didn't stay there long...lol That Tele is the only guitar I had played though it till a few minutes ago. It gets MUCH thicker with humbuckers, as expected.

Thanks much Mark for posting this. I needed to at least hear something before I ordered the Therapy. Was torn between that and the Antidote.

Nice video Mark! That's a sweet amount of gain on tap in that amp. The whole rig sounds great. Thanks for the first day of therapy post and congrats!

After the Doc's speaker testing post I'm really curious about the V30 and Creamback.

What speaker ? Really seems like a good match.... Celestion Gold....and yes....it is a great match. Just like the Doc said. I played humbuckers last night and the sound was even thicker and fatter, as expected. Wonderful I say! This amp almost seems like the Antidote's little brother in a way. Fat, THICK and smoooooth. With more volume control without attenuation. I also say that this amp is very easy on my old, burnt out ears. I quality I crave these days. The Antidote is smoother and easier to me than the Remedy......this one takes it to another level of smoothness.....

DUDE! Great vid! I tried to do something similar but my camcorder's mic just about blew up. I was going to get out the Sony PCM recorder but I haven't had time. You just saved me the trouble!
The part around 0:50 with the sliding sixths really shows the percussiveness of the amp! Notes just pop off the fretboard just like the original Rx, MAZ GT and Z-Wreck.
Well done sir!

The Antidote is smoother and easier to me than the Remedy......this one takes it to another level of smoothness..... The amp sounds MUCH different through a Z-Best...a little less articulate, a little rounder on the top end, a little less percussive but fatter and with bigger lows and a larger frequency spread in general. Even though it's a "American" voiced amp it really does pop with the Golds. Also as you said earlier it's a VERY different amp with different guitars. With my Grosh Set neck with the Lollar Imperial High Winds it's got much more gain but still cleans up extremely well.

Very nicely done, Mark. Great playing and great tones. I think I know what my next Z is going to be. I can't help thinking how wellt the Therapy would pair up with the EZG. Clean and mean!

Awesome demo, Mark. I love that "squawk-y" sound it's got underneath there--sounds like it'd be killer for some of the higher-gain Lynyrd Skynyrd stuff..?
