Hey, I'm a new Z-Weeck combo owner, and I am literally speechless as to how remarkable this amp sounds. So, just curious what some of your favorite settings are. I took some notes from Dave Baker's demo, and landed on this for my LP: Vol: 10-12:30 (depending on what you want) T/B: 12:00 Cut: 3:00!!?? This setting allowed me to use the volume knobs on the guitar to get a wide range of tones. Oh, comfort setting, BTW. And Brakelite on 1 click. I have been flipping knobs and have been shocked where I end up, b/c it's never where I thought I'd like it.
Anyone else have some favorites? I gotta do the same w/ my strat now...

My LP settings are pretty close to yours, although I have the Cut a little lower and bass closer to 11 than 12. Of course, my LP likely is different from your LP, so we may have different tonal results.

I play a Strat with everything around 1:00, and I use the speed setting. That is the cusp between jangly clean and singing, sustaining chime. I've never really gotten the knack of using the volume knob, but there is a lot you can do in that zone with pick attack. As far as I'm concerned, the Z Wreck is at the apex of the Trainwreck ideal.

"...there is a lot you can do in that zone with pick attack." I agree, stratovarius. Just going from fingers to pick to really digging in gets some diverse tones. I am preferring the Speed setting over Comfort, but I found these current settings to work great for some creamy classic rock tones. And, doctor ice , I upped my T/B knobs to 1:00--really fills out the sound even more. Very robust. Yep. Pretty much love this amp. My neighbors, though...heehee...
