Myles,
Have you had a chance to check out the new Tung-Sol EF86's yet? I'm curious since they are priced significantly higher than other current EF86's... $39 vs $45 for NOS Dario Miniwatts.
Thanks!

coreybox, I believe that data from Myles you linked to is for the JJ EF86, not the TS ( New Sensor / "TungSol" ) EF86.
So there's both a "TungSol" EF86 and an ElectroHarmonix ( E-H ) EF86 available from the New Sensor camp ??
There's a guy on eBay selling "advance" units of a "TungSol" 6L6 STR, which I'm assuming is a recreation of the Sylvania STR387 (?) that came stock in the SF Fenders and others. STR = Special Tube Request. Designed specifically to operate better hanging upside down - as I understand it. They were a really good tube.
I haven't seen any official announcement on those T-S 6L6STR. Maybe only the vendors have, but they're supposedly going to be available toward the end of April, according to the eBay guy.

As a side note, the STR387 was not a Tung Sol design but a Sylvania design.
