This looks pretty awesome. Would you take it over a POG 2?

I saw this and I am interested in one for sure...I think we do some tunes that could use this effect!

The Leslie sounds better than many of the Keyboards out there. I wonder if it works with a keyboard plugged in?

To your question, I had a POG (the small one) and I think this would be more useful.

As soon as I showed this to my wife (the singer in the band) she said, "you need one of these." I was less inclined, but it is amazing. It's great when your wife has a stake in your playing.
I used to sell for Casio in their days of pro gear. They had a synth guitar that worked extremely well for the time (not well enough for me to keep my sample even though as a guitar it was righteous) but this appears to track extremely well. I imagine that is due to a different technology.

I had the EQD Organizer and I've had the EHX HOG...Nobody tracks better than EHX in my opinion they are the gold standard for polyphonic effects, but I'm not a good enough guitar player to make organ sounds....I think to much like a guitar player. I would take the POG2 because I find it's sounds more broad ranging in use.
But THAT dude sounded great !

That guy demoing the pedal certainly could do that

I think that when using one of these, touch and fretboard positioning are probably at least as important as note choice. For example, note how the thing decays when playing open strings versus fretted notes/ chords.

Jon had linked to this a week ago on FB. I was and I am STILL blown away by this demo. It is so natural sounding!
I haven't for a year or so, but I used to be in a jazz trio - guit/bass/drums. This thing would find immediate use in that context. Even just to turn it on and lightly comp during bass solos would give a trio - which can easily start to sound "all the same" to the audience after a few tunes - a freshness without having to add that fourth player.
I was at GC yesterday for some strings and the girl there told me that someone else had asked about them, too. She said the warehouse will get a shipment on the 14th, and that the stores should see them shortly after that.
I will probably wait until they show up used and save a bit. I know players will buy them for the gadget-appeal and then not have much use for it. I think I could incorporate it right away.
And I respectfully disagree on the learning curve of this being the same as a POG or other pitch mangler. For most players that are used to comping with a clean tone, the learning curve on it should be about ten minutes. But, if I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time! Ha. It just doesn't seem to have the same vibe as something like the POG - and it isn't anything like the organizer - if this demo is even close to what the pedal sounds like.
