Have not but with the different efficencies might be funky. That's my initial thought, but since it's offered as an option on the Zbest now I thought maybe some Z brethren have given it a whirl. Been scoping out some different 2x12 options and have always been interested in a Zbest, but hated to buy it just to replace a speaker. I've only experienced clones(Green Beret and Reaper 55) in separate cabs, but I really like the mix of these two types of speakers.

Assuming you mean the m version of the creamback, it will definitely be quieter than the h. This isn't exactly a bad thing especially if you're micing. I run a scumback BM-75 (65w) and a BH-75 30w in a z best and it's glorious.

This thread has been quiet for some time but I thought i'd post. I just acquired a z-best from Humbucker music and they load their z-best cabs different from stock. Their z-best cabs have a G12M Creamback and G12H-30. www.humbuckermusic.com/collections/dr-z-z-best-cabs/products/dr-z-z-best-2x12-cab-red-zw-grillI find the balance between the two to be exceptionally warm. When I allow my Maz 18 NR to fully breathe (as in I don't have my z-brake engaged) the z-best gives me the feeling of a warm sonic blanket wrapping around my body. I don't really know how else to describe it. I haven't heard the stock z-best cabinet that comes out of the factory, but i'm sure it also sounds superb. Thanks!

We have built many this way. a lot of dealers are now ordering the Z Best loaded with a Cream ( M) and a H -30. As stated not as loud , nice and warm and rich sounding.

Z My very first post and the Doctor himself responds... Well... I can die happy now. =) On a side note - Although i'm sure you get this all the time - Thank you for making such great amps! I've been a long time fan and am finally able and happy to say I now own a Dr. Z!! It's great to know that these amps are made right down the street here in Cleveland! Thanks Doc!!
