So today I went to a great little shop here in Austin called the guitar house and I sat down with a Suhr strat and a pocket full of cash and stared amazed at the selection of boutique and highly coveted pedals encased in glass on every side of me. I talked to the guy as my girlfriend sat down on the couch in the middle of the room.. I went in to test the Walrus voyager, but after a little chat the guy went to the cases and started putting three pedals in an A,B,C configuration. I put them all through the ringer at stage volumes and had both the guy and my girlfriend who is clueless about this stuff blindly listen and pick A,B, or C we did this with the first round containing the Jetter Gold standard. No matter which position or what order the Jetter won round one. Then we added in two others..again after and hour of playing through a dozen pedals, for some reason my ear was being backed by what everyone else kept picking 95% of the time. I laid down the cash, walked out the door and went about my day. I just got home and put it in the chain and I must say, this pedal is a serious winner. If you are looking for something that truly has amazing feel and dynamics and a tone that simply compliments both your attack and style, but more importantly the tone of your amp the Jetter Gold standard is something you should definitely try. Anyone else had any experience with this pedal?? I welcome anyone to chime in, even if they do not like the pedal…. Anyhow cheers my friends...

Havent Tried the Jetter Gold, but like the Red Squared, which is a 1/2 Helium Clean boost and the other half is his RED Overdrive. Pedals can be a black hole once you start tweaking with diffeent ones....:-))

Hey ZombieZ, I was wondering if you tried in that a,b,c, the JHS morning glory. I liked the MG better than the Walrus voyager...IMHO...but wanted to know how it compared to the Jetter G.

I actually liked the morning glory and did test it. Seemed a bit muddier and not as clear in the bottom end. But jhs almost got me with the angry Charlie. Tell you the truth all that testing and it was hard to pick the jetted g. Sick as was the second amongst all. Yes it's called sick as without the second s. I might be grabbing that one tomorrow as it just had something really dynamic and very musical to it. Keep in mind all he test were not done on a Dr Z so ymmv. Cheers

I have the Jet Drive, Red Square and the GS 124. All of which absolutely kill with all my amps. There are many good OD pedals out there but Jetter just seems to hit the sound I have always been chasing...
