tell me if you've heard this one before. lol
I got myself invited to this new weekly invitational jam. The pedal steel player in a Little Walter amp endorsee and had a really sweet sound going. the steel player, the tele playing guitarist and the drummer are regular guys. The bassist (current bassist with Vicci Martinez band) and I were both new to the situation. We played 3 sets and no one ever called out a song title... you just had to follow along. needless to say, there was a lot of jamming but it was a fun group to be jamming with. i'm sure there will be more videos posted with better Z tone in the mix but i'm kinda buried in this one.

here's another one (cause who can get enough of 20 minute 2-chord space/funk jams??!!??) It was great fun blending the 3 guitar sounds into one seamless wall of sound. The recording gives better isolation of the parts but live it was just a big wall. The ghia was cranked up to about 3 o'clock with the BL on 2.

When I heard the funk, I knew ^^^^ would chime in....DIG!!! yeah.... i went back to the jam this past Sunday evening cause I knew we'd play some Meters and I thought it would be a good way to pay homage to Paul. unfortunately, I just looked at my messages and realized he'd PM'd me on June 9th with links to some audio of his band and i never replied. Epic fail on my part.

Da Poodle be jammin'..good job Ian, to my ears you took the best ride on that song.... Thanks Harvey.... and everyone else for the compliments. I just plugged in and held on for the wild ride. These jams are loose... at best. You never know what's going to happen... which makes it both thrilling and scary as hell.

Just my ears Ian but they sound unattenuated and your sweet Ghia is holding back. Next jam cut her loose a little bc again iMO you and the pedal are on the level and should have equal presence in the sonic fabric. The band's good and the jams are too but I know that Ghia can sing along fine w/o the BL. Nice taste and solos.

Mighty nice, Ian. I agree with Christopher, though: remove the BL!
