Is there a way of getting an effects loop build in by dr z for the remedy?

please forget the FX loop. in any amp it will deteriorate the sound. if you need effects place them in front of the amp and bypass them with a good true bypass switch if you don't need them.

I doubt the Z shop would do it. I suppose you could find a tech who would attempt it, but that could end up ruining your amp. You might take a look at the Bad Cat Unleash. It's an attenuator (and booster, but who would need that with a Remedy ) that has a loop. I have one, but it's new to me, and I've not tried the loop yet. It's not cheap, but I'm sure modding the amp would cost more.

I thought most loops were between pre and power amp signals........ but I guess in the absence of accessing that part of the signal path.......... I'll be interested to see what you think of the loop in that box, Mike.

It attenuates the speaker output to line level then re-amplifies it so the loop is actually post-power amp so to speak. I've heard they work really well, but I got a great deal on a brake lite and and any need I have for getting more volume out of an amp went away when I got my Route 66.

The remedy doesn't mind reverb at the front of the amp but when you hit a boost ( ep booster ) or the eq bypass it doesn't really like it.
Options?

I use Remedy with a Strymon Flint and an Eventide H9 in the front end and both sounds great with the eq bypass. It may be the reverb pedal you are using. some pedals have too low impedance and can't handle higher signal strength.

I clearly recall someone posting (probably over a year ago now) that they had a loop installed in their Remedy. Hm, I wonder if I can find it with the search...

Ok so the Strymon flints works with the remedy really well? What if you put an ep booster and the eq bypass into the mix?

Also does mini hall of fame work in front?

Are you sure it's the Remedy and that you're not hitting the 'verb or delay pedal with too much signal when you click on a boost or OD? I've had problems with some pedals that can't take the hotter input signal without overloading at the pedal's front end. A bit of experimenting with and without the verb in the chain should let you know where in the chain the problem is occurring.

Yeah I discovered that the verb is the problem.
I have the mad pro spring reverb pedal.
I'm going to do some more experimenting in future gigs.
Is there any other pedals like the flint that do work? I would love to know if the hall of fame tc works?

I run my Remedy somewhat clean, normal and high volumes around noon or slightly above. I stack OD pedals at times I can have either an Xotic RC Booster, Paisley Drive, or EP Booster on with the eq bypass and the Flint. Solo tone is sweet.

Sorry to revive this but has anybody tried it? I know some people feel strongly that it isn't worth IT but different players with different needs n' all that.
May be getting one W/O the master volume soon, really hoping to fit sn fx loop but very unsure
