Let me know your thoughts on the mods with regard to practice and small gig volume levels.
Cheers!

I will tell you that having the master volume and eq bypass make this amp one of the most versatile amps you will ever play. The master volume is after the phase inverter circuit which will give you that real tube dirt at reasonable volumes. Of course, the Remedy still will sound best cranked because you get the speaker breaking up and moving air. But it sounds pretty good at lower volumes too.
The eq bypass will give you a nice bump in gain and thickness. It doesn't give you much in volume like it does on the MAZ series of amps. Having the eq section set pretty neutral and using the high and normal volumes to set your tone, hitting the eq bypass sounds just like your base tone, just more of it.
Don't overlook the Remedy for its cleans either.
My only complaint, albeit a small one is that running delay into the Remedy set dirty doesn't sound as good as running an overdrive into a delay into a clean amp. I wonder if adding a buffered effects loop would ruin the amp? Again, a small issue. You really don't need a lot of effects with the Remedy cause it is good by itself. Maybe a wah or phaser as those sound good before the gain stage anyway.
What kind of speaker are you running? Myself and a lot of guys here love the Creamback. The Z Best sounds good too.
Also, make sure you only use JJ 6V6 tubes. Any other tube will not do well due to the higher voltages.
Let us know what you think when you get it and after a month or so. Enjoy.

^^^ I have had pretty good luck with my delays and the Remedy. I don't set my amp real dirty and maybe that is why. Dogdollar, I am betting you are going to love it, and I second the Creamback and Z Best. I have and use both with my Remedy.

All that I know is that as soon as you receive the tracking number TIME WILL STOP. I don't know anything about the Remedy BUT the MV on my new Monza worked great at rehearsal last night. I was able to have the sound I was after and then just barley bring it down to match the room. No difference in feel for me.
Stay Pumped !!

The mods really open up this amp making it SO versatile! A little trick with the EQ Bypass: run the TMB at around 10 o'clock, and you get a bigger volume lift when you lick in the bypass. This works because the TMB circuit is subtractive, so the lower the settings, the more it attenuates, thereby allowing more volume when you bypass them. I use this method as a solo boost. I actually have T set at 11 o'clock mostly,, and M&B set lower, so the bypass signal is a bit thicker and louder - it really lifts the solos As for the MV - well that is just brilliant! The usable volume range is incredible, especially combined with the 40W / 20W switch on the back. Going from gig volume (40W and MV around noon) down to practice volume at home (20W and MV just above 9) makes a HUGE difference, and yet retains the Remedy magic (below 9 on the MV starts to lose the mojo, but it's still usable for note bashing right down to almost bedroom volumes). Oh, and I'm running my Hi V cranked! Bring that down to 9, and everything cleans up and gets even quieter........... Of course the REAL gem of the MV is at gigs - being able to set the overall volume just right at gig volumes is SO much better than the one or two steps on a Brake Lite.

Guys, I am using the stock "Z-Best" cabinet and I also have two 2 x 12 open back cabs with Mesa-issue Celestion "Black Shadows" in them. Thanks for understanding my excitement over all of this...I tell people at the coffee shop or at work about it and they look at me like I'm nuts. Regards, DD

I think we're all a little nuts in this forum.
Like Waylon sang, "I've always been crazy, but it's kept me from going insane."

Were you using an Airbrake before getting the mods? I was ... and now my Airbrake is real lonely & feeling neglected.
As has been said/written before, both mods are very useful.
FYI, never played a Creamback .... using a WGS ET65 in a 1x12 open back and very happy with it ... especially when playing thru p90 pups.
Have fun.

My airbrake has always been to stick a few pillows in front of the speaker. I start with it set to four pillows, but I may turn it up to two pillows. DD

I never use the half power switch unless I'm hooked up to a cabinet with speakers that can't handle the wattage. I suppose I'm going to have to replace tubes sooner, but who cares when it sounds that good?!?!

Just wanted to say....having this Remedy (now with the mods) has been like going to school. There seems to be no end of tweaks and settings and tones you can coax from this thing. So far, for me, this amp seems to love and really lend itself to humbuckers, although it coaxes every bit of honey out of my Lindy Fralin Blues Specials on my strat, as well. The easiest target to hit is that warm, crunchy Marshall overdrive; the most elusive is a super clean single coil tone at high volume....but every time I grab a beer and crank it up with the intention of nailing this or that elusive sound, I get sonically sidetracked and can just spend HOURS noodling away. The only pedals I have even bothered to hook up are a Keeley Compressor and a Zendrive, and I can count on one hand how many times I have even turned the Zendrive on. The compressor kicks in a little drive and brightness at the same time, and makes the string attack even more spongy than it already is...but if it went tits up tomorrow I wouldn't break my neck running out to get a new one - this little amp does just fine in its own. Very, very satisfied. I never knew it would be THIS good. DD
