It is just a matter of switching it out. I have no idea if that means it needs a rebias or not.

You will need to re-bias if your go from Solid State to Tube rectifier. The plate voltage with a SS rectifier is generally higher than with a tube one. Check out the Dr Z site it discusses this topic on there. Hopefully Myles will chime in as well.
