I just bought this on ebay. It is said to be an RCA short gray plate 5751 with O Getter. I know VERY LITTLE about tubes, and bought this for V2 in a Carmen Ghia. All I know is that it supposedly tests strong at 115/120. Thanks and any info would be helpful!

I would try it in V1, depending on what you already have in there. It will have a little less gain (to me, a good thing). I believe the 115/120 spec refers to the balance of the two independent sides of the tube which, unless you are using it for a phase inverter/output tube driver, doesn't really matter. That's a really good price for that tube; maybe TOO good. Buying tubes on Ebay can be risky. Any number a vender advertises is dependent on what they are using to test with.

Any issues if I try it in V2 as well? V1 sounds tempting too.

I would try it in v2...most old tubes like that we'e pretty well balanced anyway because they were made batter back then.

It will work fine in either location but you will notice the most improvement in V1.
