Hi All, Happy holidays! I have been using GT12AX7M's for V1 on my MAZ Jr and Senior. I really like how this tube sounds. I have also used the GT12AX7M in the PI position. I am wondering if anyone has used the TAD 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE tube? I have tried a set of TAD EL-84's..IMO, the GT's sound better. thanks! Rick

Hi All, I tried a TAD 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE tube in V1 position in my Maz 38 Senior. I liked it a lot better than the JJ803S, JJ12AX7;Tung-Sol 12AX7, and EH12AX7. I still favor the GT12AX7M in V1. However, the TAD in the PI spot sounded excellent. It seemed to have stronger output with more clarity and smoothness. I will compare the TAD 7025HG vs the GT12AX7M in the PI as soon as I can get another GT12AX7M. Cya, Rick

Hi All, I tried a TAD 7025HIGH GRADE. It's different from the TAD 7025/E83CC HIGH GRADE supposedly it represents the top10% of TAD's 12AX7: closet tolerances and best performance. I am auditioning this tube in V1 position in my Maz 38 Senior. It really sounds sweet with wonderful compression. It doesn't have quite the gain or character of a GT12AX7M. So, V1 TAD7025HG; V2 TAD 7025/E83CC HG; V3 GT12AT7; V4 TAD 7025/E83CC HG;V5 GT12AX7M; Output: Matched quartet of GT-EL84's #6. Cya, Rick
