Hi all, I was recently asked a question via PM about the difference in overall volume between the Monza MV and the Remedy MV. Thought I would post my reponse for the benifit of others. I currently own a Remedy with the MV and have presiously owned 2 Monzas (one moded to add the MV and one that had it from the factory). If I was in a different financial possition I would still own a Monza (and a Maz 8 and a Z28) but life is what it is, I am greatful to be able to own one great so I'll take it and enjoy it Here is my response: " The master volume on both amps works great. What you need to determine is what kinds of OD sound you like. The Monza is much more saturated gain, the Remedy is more crispy/sizzle OD in sound. Both are LOUD. The Monza at 30 watts is amazing loud as is the Remedy at 40/20.
When at home, I loved the Monza because I didn't need any OD pedals get crazy and if you crank it up all the way it gives you an awesome full blown distortion tone that is crazy good.
The Monza is much darker in overall tone than the Remedy, one not being better than the other just different.
MV on both amps does allow you to crank the volume and then bring it waaaaay down. Wisper quiet for both amps."

Don"t have a Remedy but agree 100% on the Monza review. I can have it just "Hair Band" Distorted and be talking to somebody standing right by the amp. The MV on it is the best I have ever seen. And now you can mull over the fact that I used the term "Hair Band" .....carry on!
