So I picked up my PRS brent mason guitar (check out my other thread) and got a phone call from my local dealer about something I might want to see. I stopped by and he got this guitar in. Now normally, I'm not a taylor fan at all...but this 12 fret 522e is something special. I think it has the newer appointments that taylor released on its 800 series but I could be wrong. It does have the ES2 though. it sounds GREAT for a small body guitar. Lots of low end for a small body and very well balanced. I'm impressed.

Wow, cool... I was not aware that Taylor was making 12-fret guitars. Looks nice!

Thanks fellas. I always loved 12 frets but I always envisioned owning something more off the way like Macassar ebony back and sides or something but this one is special.

It's a great day to buy a guitar. Let's buy two!

I love that size body on an acoustic. More of a sweet timbre and not the boom of a dreadnaught. Congrats on that nice guitar. Now the hard choice- which guitar to play first?

It's very difficult to pick. The taylor is perfect for on the couch picking. The PRS plays so nicely. My wife told me no playing until I organize my basement. Too many amps, cases and guitars everywhere. ill be back later!
