Just wondering if u guys have recommendations on trem pedals other than the flint...just a bit too much tweakability for me.

I have an EBS TremoLo that I love. It's small, flexible and built to withstand a nuclear war !
It's off the radar as far as mainstream pedals go. I chose it after reading a 2008 Guitar Player delay pedal roundup article a couple years ago. My dealer had one in stock for a couple years that they couldn't move (most people didn't know about the brand).
I absolutely love it.

Dr. Z JAZ and a Gibson GA-40 do it for me.

The Fultone Supratrem is good. But since I got the JAZ I haven't looked at trem pedals. Suppose there are a hundred different ones.

+1 on supa-trem but large. I also liked the Demeter tremulator.

I like my Kelley Modded Boss TR-2 Tremolo. Very simple to use. The TR-2 is good enough for Kenny Vaughan...and he plays a Princeton with inboard tremolo!

The Red Witch Pentavocal is a nice solution.

+1 on supa-trem but large. I also liked the Demeter tremulator. If I were buying now id get a fulltone, but I've been using the tremulator for about 12 years, two knobs and it sounds great.

After having owned a Fulltone Supa Trem for many years, I've tried several other notables (ie. Empress, Cusack, etc) including the Strymon Flint and ended up with the Diamond Tremolo. Sounds extremely musical and has a tap tempo which was a key factor for me personally.

I have the Fulltone Supa Trem and really like it--I think the fast/slow switch is handy for quick-access to either a fast warble or a slow pulse. Mine doesn't have a volume knob (don't feel I need it) but he recently redesigned them and added one.

My favorite is from Sam at Oldschoolfx. Its called Chelsea Nights. It has a flashing light for setting the rate, if you ask him he can build it in a smaller box too. Nice sounding Term and not too expensive. I like it so much I have them on my site but you can go directly to his site too. Todd

Love my Cusack TAW. Had it narrowed down to the Diamond, Dr Scientist Tremoloessence and the TAW when I was on the trem hunt.

I've used the Voodoo Labs 4 knob trem for a number of years and it's worked great for me.
In a pinch the cheap Dano has worked too.
The Supatrem is one I wanted to like but never really got on with. The Supatrem 2 is really calling my name tho'. And the new Mooger Fooger looks interesting.
The Flint does seem like one I ought to try because it does 3 kinds of trem.
I wish someone made a copy of the Dearmond, even a good digital one would be fine.

I like my Kelley Modded Boss TR-2 Tremolo. Very simple to use. The TR-2 is good enough for Kenny Vaughan...and he plays a Princeton with inboard tremolo! He probably has the trem disconnected on that amp. That is a common mod to make Fender SF/BF amps sound better. You're right though. Tone doesn't get any better than Kenny Vaughn and he could have any pedal he wanted. I'd have to go with the Keeley Mod though.

The Danelectro Tuna Melt is surprisingly good, & not just good for the money. Pretty durable too, even though its got a plastic body, & still mighty cheap!

I don't use tremelo often so I never invested in a quality pedal. When trem is needed I use a cheap plastic Rocktek Vibrator with 2 controls (depth and rate). It really doesn't sound bad for a cheapo unit. Right now my only other option is to haul my AC30.

Love my Cusack TAW. Had it narrowed down to the Diamond, Dr Scientist Tremoloessence and the TAW when I was on the trem hunt. Love the Cusack as well. One thing it does that I've not seen from anyone else is it's capable of fading in the effect like on a vintage Princeton Reverb. Sounds great for holding a chord at the end of a song and the trem slowly ramps up in amplitude. I also use the tap out to control the tap tempo for my eventide H9.

Supa Trem 2! It has tap tempo and a warble wave. Played through an EZG 50 it is pure heaven!

I have the TR-2 and for the few songs we do that require trem it does the trick and I haven't been compelled (as I have w/ other effects) to A/B - and you can pick them up a used one for not alot of scratch

+1 on the Boss TR-2. It is simple, clean, and dependable. It is the only pedal that Jimmie Vaughan has in his rig. I run mine through the effects loop on my Maz amps. Very nice.

The tremolo on the spring reverb algorithm of the Eventide Space sounds amazing. Sounds like an old blackface amp. Yeah, it's a complicated pedal but you can kill two birds (reverb and tremolo) with 1 pedal.

Why no flint.
The flint sounds amazing...lots of features, but brain dead simple to use.
Seriously....just get a flint and call it a day.

I just got one to use in my bass rig. Tried it with my guitar also. Can't find anything wrong with it at all. It was mailed to me in a simple padded envelope...being a Boss I don't think it even got scratched.
