So I came to this conclusion with the dealer today.
I'm taking a good chunk of the money I had given for the music man and I am buying the PRS Brent Mason guitar. We are requesting that music man build my guitar to the specs I ordered and delivered within 45 days and we should hear back from them by Tuesday if that is a go or not.
So I will end up with both guitars which is great.
If music man says that the options are no longer available, it will more then likely be the last dealing with music man/Ernie ball I will be involved with.

The PRS Brent Mason is the most comfortable PRS I have played (probably because it's the most Fender-like). Almost bought one myself...just couldn't get over the huge middle pickup and mini toggles...but it is a smokin' guitar!

Pat, what color Mason are you getting? I played a one-off pink one (like Mary Kay pink), and it was actually pretty cool looking!

I found a brand new one at an amazing deal. For 1749 Canadian. Going to pick it up Saturday...with NO WAIT lol tell me more about what you though about the mason...what about the middle pickup didn't you like other then size? i think the mini toggles makes that guitar! So many possibilities.

I guess I really liked everything, but just not enough to want to buy it (already have the holy trinity of guitars).
From what I've seen and played though, that Brent Mason is the Swiss Army knife of guitars...coil taps, bolt-on neck with satin finish, sweet tremolo...you made a good choice.

That Brent Mason axe looks killer! It'd be a toss up between that and a Swamp Ash Special. Good choice!

As a fellow gearhead, I hope you get both, lol.
I was eyeing up that Brent Mason PRS when I first saw a couple of videos with him using it. Looks totally amazing. Let me know how you like it.
