It's a pity it is no longer up, but referenceaudiomods.com was offering wooden knobs to replace the plastic ones on your stereo. The kicker was the price: $485! Unless you build a room or house with isolated Xformers and high dollar stranded wire without any joints in the circuit all that cable will give is the noise that is already at the receptacle that is probably 14 or 12 gauge solid wire with joints in the circuit maybe lights or even some type of motor. So the last 5 feet will not take any of the noise out unless an isolated Xformer is added at the end of the circuit. Some rich audiophile may invest that kind of money but this country boy is happy with what I have.
