I'll soon be in the market for a set of new mini humbuckers to go in my Epiphone Riviera and I'm curious to see what you guys happen to like and what you recommend?
Looking for something that won't break the bank... I'd love to eventually purchase a set of Lollars, as I've had experience with his imperials in the past and they are lovely pickups.
What do you guys like?

Not really going out of the box here, but I love Gibson's mini-hums...and I figure thats saying something because I very much dislike pretty much all of their humbuckers. Great bell like cleans, lots of grit if you want it. If there is one downfall, sometimes I wish the bridge was a bit thicker sounding...but such is life with a mini-hum.

These days I'm almost exclusively single coils, but I broke out my 70 Les Paul Deluxe and the tones were lovely. It just may see more action in the future.

I really love Minis... The clarity and almost pseudo-single coil thing they have going on is the perfect in-between for me. Full size humbuckers, for me, can get way too muddy too fast.
I've almost converted completely to minihumbucker guitars, sans my SG which has retrofit P90s. Though I'm considering (when and if the money train starts rolling) converting my SG to accomidate Minis. I'll just have to find a pickguard lol

I used to have an '89 LP Deluxe, and I changed the stock Gibson mini for a SD Antiquity II. I wanted a little more punch in the bridge, as both (neck and bridge) pickups read 6K. It was good, although I think it missed a bit of the typical mini clarity. Just my 2c. Tons of tone!!

Have used Seymour Duncan minis in the past and really liked the tone.

I have the stock Gibson mini-hums in my Firebird, but am stashing the cash towards a set of Lollars.
