Put em in my Monza and nice difference. I did the same on my Maz (Rec along time ago) and have been using the EH 84's. I get them from a tube supplier so I am assuming they maybe get a little more testing than just going to a music store. I have had no problems with them. The NOS Phillips Rec if from KCA tubes and both have made a nice change to both amps. Nice upgrade for not to much money in my book (89.00)

Improves reliability too. I have NEVER had to replace a NOS rectifier. One of them has 20 years of regular use on it.

I have a few different NOS rectifiers I got from Mike at KCA - all work great in my Maz 18 or Z28. Over the years I have always used JJ's or TAD's for my EL84's but I did get some EH's last time around and they do sound nice in the Maz. Sometimes it's the simple fixes that bring your tone to a new light!
