I want to get a D style oval back cab but want to know if there is anything to the size of the cab? Ideally I would like to get a two rock cab and just use that but I have an "extra" Z Wreck cab around that has the oval opening and it would make sense to just throw some 65s in there and go. But the size is different than the two rock (smaller) but slightly bigger than the morgan.
What do you think about putting 65s in the Z Wreck cab?
Z Wreck cab: 27.5 x 10 x 21.5
Two Rock: 29 x 12 x 21.5
Morgan: 27.75 x 10.5 x 20.75

I ordered the elite series cab and it's a Dumble style. It's 28x22x11.5. I'm using it with a Red Plate head. I think the Z cab would be fine IMHO.

Rik, You plug D-guitar into D-amp head and run D-speaker cable from D-amp head to D-cab. Some people use D-pedals between D-guitar and D-amp. lol I D-unno

I'm curious why everyone says D instead of Dumble. Seems like the name Dumble is so holy that you can't even say it. I reckon all amps need to be called by their first letter. I'm going to buy me a f or a v amp, maybe a c. To answer the question; most dumble amps use a cab with an oval port in the back and is suppose to be tuned someway. That is my take on the cabs. I don't know about what size opening but the smaller the opening , you can move further away from the wall. I'm not sure but I'm not in that field of expertize. That is my take on it.

Probably because, if you put his name on a website, he will sue you. Stage Craft, Mojo Tone & JDesign make "D" style cabs.

If he sues me, he sure will get lots of nothing. I can understand a company but me or you. What can he really get out of a poor country boy like me. It would cost him more than he could surely get.

The "D" refers to something else that starts with the same letter and we just like saying it to feel young again
