Hello, I'm new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone would help me answer a couple of questions regarding a few mods on a 2004 Maz 38 SR. 2x12 combo I picked up recently. Where to start?

The speaker jacks have been modded with an ohm selector switch.

The Transformers have been changed to these. They sound great but I'm wondering what they sound like compared to the originals?

I took this pic of the inside and one of the tube sockets I noticed had been changed. not sure what other mods have been done. (Could take it back apart for more pics if needed)

It came with two Weber speakers. (I don't think are original) The only numbers I can find on them are the big 16 ohm stickers and a smaller date code I believe, Weber Slvr/Blue 12-A-16 12970639. Not sure of the wattage but they sound great at low volume, but break up to quick for what I'm doing. I had some old Celestion "black back" G12H 30 watt speakers in one of my first Marshall 4x12 cabs and two of those fit quite nicely in it. It still sounds a little to "bright" but I can eq the treble back.
I have wanted one of these amps for awhile (a friend had one a couple of years ago, and it really opened my eyes/ears to the tones it could get) I've been using my 1974 Marshall for about the last 30 years. lol So when this amp came along I jumped on it.
Thank you in advance for your time, it is definitely appreciated. Doug.
