Does anyone have any experience illuminating the Z badge on their amps like Matchless/Bad Cat, Morgan, Top Hat etc.? I think it would look awesome but haven't seen it done. I'm sure it requires all custom parts but let me know what you've seen or ideas you've had!

I think so, maybe even raise the Z and keep it opaque so the light a cast behind it giving an eclipse look.

Interesting. It would probably be easier to do on a hardwood valence so you had something solid to mount the bulb holder or LED and the custom\clear Z emblem to. Shouldn't be that tough to jump someting from the power light on the panel to the Z (assuming you don't have to care about the warranty).

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (Not trying to be a killjoy, but why would you bling up a perfectly cool amp?) For fun I'd imagine. Think of it....dark and dim lit stage, band comes up and clicks on the amp. CLICK ... and a really cool rainbow fiber optic, color changing Z illuminates the beautiful tone machine behind you. Feedback starts to build as the singer says his welcome to the crowd and then BAM. Rock it till the cows come home. It would look super cool if it slowly changed colors. My old divided by 13 had a nice blue illuminated logo.

That would look really cool, as does the Matchless logos. Turned out to be somewhat of an annoyance with the Matchless Chieftain combo I used to own though, as it regularly killed the flashlight-size bulbs that illuminated it...I'm assuming from the speaker vibration.

It would certainly look cool, especially if the amp was red. It's highly unlikely I'd ever do it but then again...

I had a Morgan DAG15 and the ONLY thing i didnt like about that amp was that the backlighting never seemed to work corretctly...it was just too finicky.
