Hey guys, long time no see. I've had so many personal things happen over the last few years including loosing both parents suddenly that I've sort of dropped out of things. BUT I'm ready to get my life back. To do so I need to raise some funds which means selling gear unfortunately. And an upcoming move will mean less storage space.
I bought a new red Rt. 66 head and a matching 1x12 cab, if I remember correct with the Gold speaker upgrade (I"ll need to take the back off to be sure) shortly before it all hit the fan. I'm guessing it's around 3 years old. Basically it's been unused for a few years and is showroom new, not even broken in. Never gigged, but sounded awesome at home of course. It's going to be the first thing to go as my Maz Jr and 2x12 plus an old Ghia head and cab serve my purposes for now. I do have some old vintage Fender stuff but I'm going to try to hold on to those at all costs or at least sell some guitars and stuff first.
Hence the Rt. 66 and cab go. Since I've been out of the market lately I have no idea what to ask for the head and cab, but I'm not holding out for top dollar. I need to move it.
Can you guys help me price it reasonably so it will move? What should I ask? Should I try to sell them separately or together as a package? Where's the best places to list gear these days? Obviously BAM is gone, and Reverb has appeared in my absence...
Thanks, and I hope I can start participating more as I find music in my life again... and thanks to my bros who have stuck with me through all this. You know who you are.
