I am looking for a cleaner, more fender type of twangy sound.. something that'll take single coils a little softer than the delta, i find the delta works better wit humbuckers...
Which Z would you guys reccomend?

Sounds like you are looking for a Z28.

The Maz series can sound pretty fendery. I'm waiting on the EZG40 myself!

I'm with Billy. My Maz Sr. can do some great Fender tones, but also Matchless, Vox and Marshall as well. It might be a good idea to wait for Evan though.

I emailed Brent and asked about the EZG-40 and he said that it's coming out later than expected but they're releasing another amp this summer, more of a tweed type amp....
I went to Ottawa last weekend and tried the other Z's. I think my choice is between the Maz Sr and Stangray, very nice amps! But I'm gonn wait for this new amp to come out and give it a shot...
Can't wait!

I never heard about the "tweed" amp before I emailed Brent so this is all new to me...
What's the tweed tone like if you don't mind describing it to me...

Tweed tone has flatter mids than the Fender blackface tone. A full tone stack late tweed circuit also has great lows and top end too. I read that Leo was trying to design amps that would distort less and not push the speakers so hard and that's one reason the blackface circuits have that big mid scoop. The blonde and brown Fenders aren't as scooped. Tweed tone is easy to hear. Go to any Fender dealer and try a 4x10 Bassman and the '57 Twin. Those amps are darn close.
