I have had my Maz Sr head sitting on the mantel for a few weeks now... Just sitting there longing to be played and I couldn't turn her on with good reason as I live in a very remote area with 230 volt power, with the Maz being 110. Waiting in anticipation I received my step down transformer yesterday. I'm still waiting on my 2 x 12 golds custom made cab to turn up next Monday hopefully after the Super Bowl (Aussie Time here, 1 day ahead). Anywho... I went to a friends place today to lend his old Fender 2 x 10 Bassman that I've bypassed my Maz Sr head into the speakers. Master full, Cut at 4, Rev 11, Bass 9, Mid 11, Treb 2 & Vol 9. This is the very first time I'm about to play her. So I plug my Tele in and turn all knobs on full with the bridge pickup and plucked a D note up the neck. The cherry pops "A one note epiphany" the sustain just blew me away... I'm now officially in love with an inanimate object!

Yes Maddog that Silver-face has seen some history indeed... It has performed in some of the most remotest pubs throughout Australia. Hopefully the same will apply with my Maz Sr. Yes she's cranked up and neighbors warned!
