I think this will be easy for you all. I have owned three Z amps and loved them all. Tell me how the Zverb is better and different from a vintage or reissue Fender unit? I already know about the Z sturdy build compared to fender "Reissue" amps. Same tubes and basic controls right? Zverb sound different?

More surf. Stronger waves.

The Z-Verb goes from light and airy to full on space exploration. I use mine with my Maz 18 NR and Maz 38 NR. I've never had a Fender Reverb, so I can't compare.

Had the reissue Fender unit for several years and liked it just fine. Had the chance to do a buy\sell on Craigslist (two separate transactions) and get a surf green Z-verb for $50 more. Much more organic and lush than the Fender reissue and will go into uncharted territory that the Fender unit wouldn't touch. Never played a non-reissue Fender unit so I can't comment on that. Currently have the Z-verb up fore sale locally only because I have sold all but one of my non-reverb Z's in the past 6 months and can't really justify having the reverb for just the Z-28. My other amp (EZG) has onboard reverb.

Thanks guys. Can anyone compare the Z unit to a fender or other tank?
