Just realized after owning this rig for about a year, I had never taken a photo. Here she is, my favorite Z rig so far! I have a Blue loaded up in the cab (replaced the stock Greenback) and yes, I replaced the black knobs with cream ones. I think they look a lot better and are much easier to see when trying to make adjustments. I traded my Maz18 combo for this rig and have not looked back. I had a Route 66 and a Ghia prior to the Maz. The Ghia was great but still a very loud amp and the 66 was just way too much amp for me. I was able to stop using a Brakelite altogether but have sacrificed nothing tone wise. I ended up making some changes to the pedal board to find overdrives that really suited what I was going for. Just a fantastic little rig and as loud as I will ever need to go.

agree with everything you said there. i was a maz jr guy for a long time and the M12 doesnt miss a trick, but at much more manageable volumes for my situation. nice clean pedal board there...

Thanks, I am a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my board. Glad to hear others have had a similar experience with the M12 after owning a Maz jr. I was nervous about the trade at the time but am so impressed with this little 12 watt wonder.

Nice setup! I had a Maz18, went to an 8. Sold both, and really liked the M12. It it only had been in a 1x12 studio combo format, it would have been mine! Do you like the Timmy with the M12? I thought it might be a bit too transparent for this amp. The OCD should sound great, that's what I auditioned with it.

Thanks guys. The Timmy is just fantastic with the M12. I use it as my light mild OD, The RC is always on and is used to beef up my signal, much like a booster of some sort. The OCD is set for heavier gain stuff and the red and white pedal is my Sally Drive. Its an 808 clone that has nice thick mids. Together with the OCD, the Sally makes for just a fantastic lead tone with good chunky mids.

I like the cream knobs a lot. Might do that with my M12 head. Great looking rig.

Ha, I didn't even realize you were on this board. Glad to see you're still rockin the M12. I miss her so, so, so bad.

Where do you get those knobs? I don't wanna get wrong ones. I think I found them and they are the fender amp ones but wanna make sure they have the same screw end on them.

This may be my M12 now? Although I bought it just for the surf green 112 and head cab! The surf green now serves a home for my Z28 head with matching 210 and 112 cabs for a sweet stack! The M12 is in my 110 combo now!
