Nice,,,Mountineers color scheme! Any input from Brad on that choice? Too bad we were terrible this year:( Any chance of offering an empty cab for those of us that have a head? Just got my head in October (custom blackout), can't really justify buying another of the same amp...would be cool to have the option of changing them out though. I wouldn't hold your breath there - the Doc builds amps, not cabs, and he hasn't sold empty cabs for all the years I've been a customer, and I fully understand why no matter how desperately I want one of these cabs for my Remedy I guess you could trade for one? Actually, I know that when Brent still worked for Doc, I inquired about an empty combo cab for one of my amps and he said yes, they would sell me an empty cab. But I don't know about THIS cab. Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards

Brent was only authorized to sell SCRATCH -N- DENT cabs. Which thank God we don't have any in stock right now.

Wow. I'm sorta confused. I found some old email correspondence regarding the empty cabs. I'll just leave it at that. But yes, the wreck cab is awesome, although, you won't be able to get one unless its a scratch-n-dent.

The blue and gold 1x12 combo looks really sharp with that black textured grill cloth. I would love to have one but it is easier yet on my back and wallet to just use my red Dr Z 1x12 with a Celestion Gold and put my silver Z Wreck head on it. Yeah it doesn't have the visual appeal this new model will have but it looks OK. Works well for smaller stages. Anyone want to sell their red Z wreck head when this combo comes out so I match?

Wow... Just WOW. I've never owned a Z Wreck, but this seems like as good a time as any to start!

I saw that, but they still don't show a complete feature listing. Does anyone know if it will have the Brake Lite or a padded slip cover?

What am I going to do with two Z Wrecks Seriously nice looking version of the Wreck. My guess is if this were available today, it would list for $2999. This guy is good...I think he secretly works for Dr Z

Any word on this? I noticed the Doc mentioned a weight of 45lbs including the brakelite but was not sure if that comes at $2999; or if this would be an additional upcharge. This amp, and The Doc, have single handedly induced a flare up of G.A.S.. I have a 1x12 Stang Ray with the Celestion Gold and absolutely love it; however when the Z Wreck was first offered in it's head/cab variation it got me thinking. Luckily the price was a bit outside of my range. With this combo on the horizon, I might have to find a new home for my Ray... Have any of you played the Ray vs the ZWreck? What are your thoughts? I love the cleans of the Ray but find myself using my an Overdrive pedal 80% of the time anyway because the amp is just SO clean. Is the clean tone of the Wreck similar in it's bloom/chime/sparkle to the Ray? Since none of my local dealers have any variation of the Z Wreck in stock it's been a bit difficult to decide. I know I would love the Wreck; I would just hate to miss the Ray too much.

Dr Z website does say that the Z Wreck combo will come with the slip cover. It doesn't say anything about a Brake Lite being standard or not.

In fact most people regret selling it. Just suck it up and buy a Z Wreck too. That's what I'm doing.

In a perfect world, that would definitely be my preference; however I simply cannot afford to have both- at least at the present time. With a two year old in daycare and a some really nice gear already, it would be difficult to rationalize to the Mrs. as well as our bank account. It would be great to have the opportunity to play one locally at some point. Maybe a local dealer will have a combo that isn't spoken for in the near future.

The only chain that carries them NEVER seen one in Ontario. They are all stuck out west. I asked to order one and was told that it would be at least 12 weeks or so to come in. No thanks. I'm gonna buy one from humbucker this month. They seem to be the place to deal with.

I actually purchased my Stang Ray from the folks at Make N Music and can certainly attest to their good business practices. They answered any/all questions I had about the amp and were a pleasure to deal with.
I bought the Ray without having the opportunity to play it first and it exceeded all of my expectations. The only reservation I have in this instance would be the loss of the Ray in order to gain the Wreck.
I do not want to steal the thread by any means but if anyone has any additional insight/impression of the Wreck vs Ray shoot me a PM.
Also if anyone has word on the inclusion of a cover or break lite I'd love to know.

I'm not 100% sure I would trade my ray for a wreck. A wreck would compliment a ray very well but the ray takes pedals so well I'm sure you could get it to sound very close toa wreck without any issues. Not sure if you could make a Z wreck sound like a ray though. Maybe someone else can chime in on that...

Now UPS says "Sorry, maybe Thursday." Package is still in Georgia. I may have to re-direct the shipment since I will be away starting Thursday. Double
