Just wondering what everyone sets their JR at? What do you set the master at? Knobs in front? Low or high input? I found a tone that I really like but I'm sure theres a bunch more in this little red box of mine...

I started using the low input and keeping the boost on. I made a plug to go in the back to keep it on all the time. This lets me run the treble up a little if I need to and really fattens things up. Using the low input with boost on gives it a little headroom instead of overdriving. Try it out, you might like it!

It can get loud and still has plenty of headroom for my pedals. Taking advantage of the full potential of that ef86! Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Proboards

I run the master at noon with volume, bass and mid all the way up- treb around 2 and the boost on. I have a Boss footswitch plugged into input 2 so I can toggle back and forth between the hi and lo inputs. For clean I switch over to the lo input and tap off the boost with the footswitch that came with the amp.
Sometimes I run the amp clean using the lo input with master all the way up, volume at noon and bass-2, mid-1, treb-11. I'll use a dirt pedal and the boost for hair.

The overdose switch is the best thing I've ever heard on an amp...fantastic feature. No disrespect sayin this but I don't think id keep the amp if it didn't have it. It totally makes that amp so much gooder. Yes GOODER

I realize the bottom pic is a straight plug, but the concept is identical on the right-angle plug. Easy as that.
