Hey Y'all, I know some of you fellers have been following the saga of my M12. Well, I've finally gotten it well into Stangray territory and I am VERY excited to share! So, here goes: - Changed all the coupling caps from .022uf to .01uf (Sozos) - Changed the cap at the top of the tone stack from a 390pf to a 500pf silver mica - Swapped out the 5Y3 for a GZ34 - Played with the bright cap values and settled back on the stock 390pf The amp sounds killer and the couplers have really tightened it up and made it sound more like a Ray. Love this thing to death and I won't be getting rid of it any time soon. I knew it was in there, just had to keep experimenting. Here's a gut shot (this was right before I changed the 47pf bright cap back to the 390)
