Hi folks, Hope everybody's doing great, been a long time since I recorded anything on my ghia, thought I'd post it here. Not the greatest take, was a bit late in the day and on the wrong pickup to start with, possibly too much gain, but I don't care, was fun, wasn't going for any real robben ford tones, couldn't even if I tried. grosh ejvt -> baby blues -> boiling point -> ghia -> Dr.Z 1x12 TT(A) -> SM57
Here's where I spend most of my time with due to volume constraints... got myself some starter monitors (KRK Rokit 5) yesterday, good for the money I think. s-gear -> red wirez cab -> rme babyface interface
Playing on the amp's a lot more fun, need to get some better microphones, a room mic to warm the sm57 up a bit. Any recommendations? The room is tiny. Cheers, Sid/Mody

Dayum Mody/Twangsta - you nailed it! I'm a big Ford fan, especially the Blue Line era, and you really did nail that song buddy. No Dumblee or Fender Elite needed.

Good job, very nice playing. I used to cover that tune with my trio, makes me think I'll bring it out again.

Very nice job. One of my all time favorite tunes . I love to crank that one in the car on a road trip brings a certain feeling of freedom. As for your question of mic suggestion I have been using a Cascade Fat Head ribbon mic for a room. I put the 57 on the speaker in typical fashions and then place the ribbon a few feet back at about speaker level. The fat head is very affordable and versatile.
