Well, what's going on is that we heard Steve playing Mike's JAZ combo at Z-fest and it sounded beautiful.
Sad that such a wonderful-sounding amp had to get discontinued, but I understand why it came to be.

I almost traded away that JAZ this week - glad we were able to come up with other alternatives!

The JAZ seemed to attract the players - I think it got used more this weekend that any other amp there. Steve, Dion, Rob, heck, even Carmen gave it a whirl!

Nice to hear that the Jaz is still seeing a lot of action. Great sounding amp!
btw: I removed the bright cap on mine since I run the amp cleaner and use Teles. It made the highs much easier to dial in on the gig.

It's still the only amp I gig with and I always get comments from other musicians about how good it sounds. They love the oval grill also.

Anyone ever find out how many were made?

I don't know how many were made but I think mine was one of the last. The serial # is U-29098 and the mfg. date is 4/10. Does anyone have a newer one? I'm curious when production stopped. Mine was a 1x12 combo but I converted it to a head.

So tell us Buddy, how do you like the JAZ compared to your MAZ Sr? I'm, curious because I sold my Sr in order to buy my JAZ. I think it's a much more versatile platform.
