Anyone use a 5751 for the phase inverter in their Route 66?

I never tried it. I imagine you'll get a few more cleans. Might slightly change the character of the distortion when the amp is cranked, too.

I found a couple of 5751's that I used in v1 or v2 of my fenders, when I had fenders. Never used them as a phase inverter. Just have to get some time to try them out. Thanks.

I tried it.
A little less gain with the same settings. Alot more compression too.

Finally got a chance to pop in the NOS 5751 I had. I was not bad but I did not like it. Less gain, less punch. Like Yarmo said more compression.
