Last night was my first gig with the Route and a 112 cab. All I can say is WOW! Every time before last night I would use my Carmen Ghia 112 combo with a Celestion gold for smaller gigs but I wanted to change it up a bit. I ran an Egnater tweaker cab loaded with a Celestion G12H30. I was nervous at first because of the rating of the speaker but I have read on here on Z-Talk that it is ok to run the route with that speaker. It is a great match for me as far as tone. My settings were T- 12 o' C, B- 1 o' C, and V- 8 o' C. I used to only run the Route with my Z Best cab but the 112 cab is easier to load and unload at gigs for sure and still have great tone and no lack of volume! Now my wife (the drummer for the band) said I have to get the Dr Z. 112 cab to match it now! who am I to say no to that!

Cool beans! I have a Ghia and although I love it I'm mighty tempted to check out a Route 66 sometime in the near future.
