Do yourself a favor and check it out. The songwriting is great, some cool tones too.

Incredible album. I've pushed a lot of people to listen to and buy this one.
There's so much great new music out there right now, but this is at the top of the heap.

Heard he is great live. My buddy saw him recently in North Carolina.
I just got tickets to see him in October in Mobile Alabama.
Can't believe he was in Drive By Truckers...that's a lot of songwriters in one band.

After seeing Jason live last week and listening to Southeaster again, I have to believe he has a great career ahead of him. The songs off Southeastern sound even better and more powerful live. Go see him if you get the chance.

This is the album I started with, love his stuff. He and the 400 Unit kill it live.

I’ve yet to hear a bad album from him. Check out the others as well.

I was about to say I'm sure I've listened to it on Spotify and that it's a good and bad thing that Spotify just lets you stream an artist, but you're not as tuned in to what you're hearing. Well, before I finished typing here, I double checked and realized I have not heard it. I've been listening to 'Jason Isbel and the 400 Unit'. Southeastern is under 'Jason Isbel'. Okay. Back to the 'good' on Spotify since I can fire it up. I do like his 400 Unit stuff and bought the most recent one.

I’ve been listening to JI since he was a Trucker, but my favorite album of his is Sirens of the Ditch. It’s a very rock n roll album, but still maintains high level songwriting.
