Well, like a knucklehead, I knocked over a diet coke that was on top of my Stang Ray (2006) head last night. The 4 El-84 power tubes were blown/shattered. No sound. All other tunes appear to be okay. Uggghhhh. At home, I cleaned up the chassis and even removed the chassis only to note that no diet coke soaked into the wiring. At least that what is looks like. I had some hope. I replaced all the tubes with other tubes that I swapped from other functioning Dr Z amps. But to my severe disappointment, the Stang Ray powered up...but when I plugged in...no sound. I have already ordered a complete fresh set of tubes. Did I blow a transformer? I either will send into the repair folks at Dr Z, or take the Stang Ray to my local guy in whom I have much faith. Do you fellow Dr Z fans have any thoughts.

I doubt you blew the tranny. Did you replace the fuses? A blown one can look good.

No luck for me...I am a knucklehead when it comes to this stuff...so I brought in to my guitar/amp tech for him to diagnose.. if its a quick fix (cleaning, fuse, tube, I don't know) ...he will take care of it...but if something is major/blown...I will send to Don Depew in the Dr Z repair dept. Thanks for your help and for checking in....I missing the Stang Ray already...I had a gig last night through my Remedy.
Jaguar guy, did you ever get the Maz GT (I noticed your post there). I picked up a Maz GT recently from a friend in our rehearsal space....love it. Will gig it next weekend in a larger room.
