Maybe I'll wait until it does or as an available mod. Why does the new Remedy have it? I would have prefered to see it on the Antidote.
Is it possible?

I guess I could go into the technical details but it may bore most of you. I did post this before, my designed PPIMV doesn't work well with Fixed Bias amps , like the Antidote, and works exceptional on Self biasing amps like the Remedy.
In a Fixed bias amp ( were you set the or FIX the bias voltage ) this DC voltage would go through the dual ganged post phase inverter pot on it's way to the Output tubes. The pot would then be scrachy unless the voltage was decoupled by a cap, which causes a RC network or filter to alter the signal. Signal altered = no good.
This isn't the case on a Self biased amp, no decoupling caps pure signal = all good.

I love my Antidote just the way it is! Thanks Doc~ I second that, Thanks Doc! ''I don't need no stinking master volume; I'm hooked on attenuation'' Think Cheech and Chong . LOL Just kidding....but if a MV hurts the tone you can keep it off my A-Dote... But if you figure out a ''Transparent'' MV I'm in. This amp is ''ALL SWEET SPOT'' I said raising my tone bar.

I think the moral of this story is, if you want an early sounding British-like amp, but want a master volume, go with the Remedy. If you want a similarly flavored amp and don't want a master volume, get an Antidote. The great thing about the Dr Z line up, is that these two amps cover similar ground and also cover both the master volume and non-master volume market. If you want something a little more modern from that flavor, get an SRZ 65. Us Dr Z fans have it pretty good, all of the classics are covered!

The Antidote seem to work extremely well with attenuation. Not that other Z's don't, but this one seems to respond the same even heavily AirBraked. And of course, works great with NO attenuation.

If MV is the gating factor, try a Remedy on 40W setting, keeping the Hi and Normal Volumes around 10-11 o'clock, and the ramp up the MV to taste. I think you'll find that is not too far from Antidote territory, and whether close to the 'Dote or not, it will sound STELLAR!!
