Sounds like bad output tube(s), and maybe a bad power tube. Let us know if the new tubes fix the problem. New power tubes (rectifier) can go bad at the drop of a hat. That probably stands true for most modern tubes. If you use a good tube dealer they will have a limited warranty on any new tubes you buy.

I had a similar problem. Replaced all the tubes and that fixed it. Good luck.

You can pull the output tubes to check the rest of the circuit. ..
