Hey guys. Played last night with a loud drummer and (a loud all the time) other guitarist. I told them to try and get a little more dynamic tonight ( not just a loud chops 'fest) in parts but they never listened, dynamics what's that? You could not talk or yell at their stage volume. They could not even attempt to drown me out the Dote can get LoudD)))))))))))). Like; when I was soloing the other guy never turned down the drummer was braking sticks left and right; so off went my BL :-). The looked at me like turn down...they didn't get it. Besides the guys just playing louD))) w/o any dynamics, the Antidote does have a sweet spot,. It sounded great all night but I hit one spot that almost made me cry.. . It was on my LP (buckers) with both pups on Bridge vol @ 8.5 and Neck @ 8.0 . The Dote was on modern. presence at 1/4, bass at 10 o' clock treble at noon, mid almost full, and both vols at 9 o'clockish ...It got very Duanne Allman on me... honkin' beautiful ''Live at the Fillmore'' stuff. The amp is all sweet spot, but at times goes beyond that to a Super-Sweet-Spot. I still have to try it with my CS 339 and my Grosh Strat.

^^^ A Z amp will show authority on stage when the needs arises for sure - I've never seen or heard one being upstaged by anything else. Those Z Watts will be heard

Played my Antidodte w/ my Grosh RC (Strat type) with Lindy Fralin pups today. All Sweet spot I say. With the G12H 16 ohm. just GREAT I may want to blend it with another cab with a Creamback and use the BL on one click with my G12H to match the lower output. You guys got me GASsing for a Creamback. Anyone try a Gold?
