I was looking at my Z-Verbs the other day and noticed a couple of plugged holes in the back of the chassis. I am a loop user so I really don't like having cables coming out the front of the Z-Verb and I also like to use the shortest cables possible. Has anyone tried moving the front jacks to the back or can you just run new wires from the front jacks to new ones in the back? Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Not a good idea. You will most likely introduce noise and interference into the circuit.

I appreciate the responses, you guys are probably right. Everything works and sounds perfect, so why risk messing it up. I just don't like the way the cables look as I use the loop on both my Z-verbs, and I like to use the shortest possible cables. Sound is much more important than looks. Thanks for talking me back from the edge of disaster

I know it won't look as nice on stage, but you could always turn your zverb around so the front faces the back. BTW, welcome to Z-Talk nocasterman!

Thanks for the welcome prspastor, I appreciate it. I have been reading and enjoying this board since 2008, and the good people here combined with a Brad Paisley demo on Doc's website are the reason I bought my ray. I thought about turning the z-verb around, but my matching red z-verb, ray & z-best look too nice. I love coming home and seeing them in the guitar room, it's like having a best buddy waiting every time I go in. I have a black z-verb on top of my black Soldano Hotrod 25 that is sitting on a black z-best right next to my ray rig..........I think I am seeing a pattern here Everything works great and sounds amazing, so I am taking the smart road and leaving well enough alone. Thanks for the advice.
