Just bought a Brake Lite SA off the gearpage for a killer price! I'm stoked to finally run one with my Route 66 and see if I can tame that beast a little when playing out at gigs.

Cool! Just remember to set it to max, set up your tone, then turn UP. Works way mo betta that way.

Exactly my thoughts!!! ^ Always made sense to use all attenuators at full attenuation and set up your sound then lower the attenuation if needed.....Doesn't trick the mind as much into the whole tone loss from attenuation thing.

For me, the great delight is having fine tone at a high level of attenuation then unleashing the beast a little. Usually a "wow" moment.

^ That was exactly my experience at my last gig. Took it from 3 clicks down to 2 and man did it sound great! But it was sounding real good at 3 clicks , 2 just brought it out even more.
