Recently picked up a 6545 to compliment my Ghia. I use a stock Z Best, but also have a retro style 1x12 made by Zane's brother. I had been using a Greenback in the 1x12 mostly to try and keep the Ghia's volume under control at small gigs since it was less efficient than a V30. Now, I'd like to apply the same principle to a speaker than can handle the 60? or so watts of the 6545. Suggestions?

Emi Texas Heat has a 99 Db rating, sounds killer and handles 150 watts, The Jensen vintage line is not bad either and there are lots of choices that will handle that power, Alnico and ceramic.

The Texas Heat is my favorite speaker these days.
It has sounded great with a Z28, Route 66, Blonde Tremolux, Plexi Marshall, and a couple others.
Like a killer Jensen with huge balls.
