Recently purchased a new ghia head. Looking to buy a new cab and speakers. I would like to get something that is fitting for the ghia but that will also allow me to use other amps, 30 watts, preferably Dr. Z, in the future. I'm slowly building as money allows. Just tired of playing inferior products. I'm thinking along the lines of a 2x12 with celestion blue or weber Blue dog 30 watters. How about the z-best?
Love the amps, love the forum, lovin' life.

Welcome to the Forum berto.... I HAD to get my Ghia 2x10 after I played a GHIA head through a Z-best 2x12 cab in a store that just BLEW ME AWAY! The GHIA running with 2x12's may be one of the best amp set-ups I've EVER heard period.... Z's open back would be good with the Weber 30 watt blues and you could also use the Celestion blues with out worrying about blowing them... but you CAN'T hardly beat the STOCK Z-best either.... I've got a Z-best ( love it...LOUD CAB...IF YOU NEED THE GHIA TO BE AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE GET THE Z-BEST), I've got a Z open back with the 50 watt Weber Blue /Silver alnico's ( AWSOME CAB!) and I'm GOING to get another Z 2x12 open back to put two 30 watt weber bluedogs I already have that are currently in another cab if you go with a DR Z 2x10 I DO recommend the Weber beam blockers and you can just wail... also try some NOS tubes with your ghia and prepare to be even MORE blown away by that little amp! Hope that helps some.... you got a GREAT AMP!! and any of these would work great and also work with OTHER higher powered ( 30 watts or so) DR Z's... Jason
