Hey guys!
I need your help once again... I'm playing a 2009 MAZ38 NR 1x12 and in the last weeks i noticed a loud hiss in the amp!
The strange thing is: It occurs only when I played it (maybe when the amp gets hot?) for half an hour or something. It's a loud hiss, guitar volume turned down. The only thing which makes it go away is to turn the standby switch off for 2 seconds, then turning it on again. you don't notice it during playing, only in a break as it hisses like crazy...
The Powertubes are pretty new (6 months, not played that often) as well as the V1 and the Phase Inverter...
Any advices?
Thanks so much!!

Can be any tube. Probably a bad power tube (some power tube dies quite young unfortunately).

I agree. Try putting your old ones back in to see if the hiss goes away.

Thanks guys! I will try in the next couple of days and will post it here...
One thing I forgot: The hiss stays the same even when i plug out the guitar from the input. Sometimes there is a small change when I turn the CUT knob... So i was thinking there might be something wrong with the soldering... But i will check the tubes!

All right, so I changed the tubes, but it didn't help!
Took it to the repair shop, the guy is a real genius! I will let you now what it was, but it will take up to ten days...
Unfortunately, thats the second time something broke in a Dr.Z Amp... End of last year my EZG Head had to be taken to repairs as well... Have a nice week everybody!!
