a couple of weeks ago after finishing a church gig, a guy walked up and introduced himself. He is a picker who is new to the church and going to be jumping in on one of our worship teams. i had heard about a new guitarist and was glad to meet him. his stuff is good...
anyway, he asked "what are you playing through? the tone was amazing!". so i showed him the M12. after a bit of research, he emailed this morning to tell me he had placed and order for his own M12.
Guess the Doc is right, "there is no substitute for tone!".
Now if we can only get both of those M12's cranking at the same time...

Great story. Not surprised in the least though. Have heard it and experienced it before!

I really want to try one of these amps. I am glad there's not a Z dealer close to me cause I think I'd wonder out of the store with one of these if I played it. Cool story!

Yes it does, JR.....
I'm currently playing my M12 atop my Z-wreck.....both heads thru the same speaker cab. Their tone is soooo very similar, that at low to medium volume most of my guitar buds (w/o looking) cannot tell which amp I'm playing. Only at higher volumes does it become evident which amp is being played. In my mind, the M12's just a low-powered Wreck which is my fave Z of all time....
You're right JR, the M12 sells itself.
