Well I finally got the time to A/B my KT45 with the 6545. I ran both into a 2000-ish Z-best cab loaded with 2 Weber Alnico Z12s (Equivalent basically to Weber's P12s) using Radial Headbone. I started both amps at 12-12-12. The KT was quite a bit louder and brighter. I lowered the bass on both to 9; turned up the volume on the 6545 to 2; and turned treble on 6545 to 2. The tone was almost identical though the KT seemed to have a little more chime and swirl to it. Without having them side by side however I don't think it would be noticeable.
if you're considering either a KT45 or the 6545 and can only afford one - I'd recommend the 6545 - close enough on the KT45 side with the added benefit of an SRZ65 for a couple hundred dollars more. IMHO
