I'm building a cab for my all tolex red RX ES head, but I can't decide between the standard salt & pepper or Marshall basket/checker weave. Here is a picture of the basket/checker. My cab will not have the "Blues Breaker" type insert in the front. It will be all grill cloth, like a Z-best. Please vote on your choice of cloth. Thanks.

I need some more votes guys. There has been over 70 views, but only 6 votes. Just go to the upper left corner of the top of this thread and click on one of the 2 choices and then click on "Submit Vote".

I'm about to start building the same thing. Both types look cool, but I'm going with S&P. I also have a red/S&P Maz 38 combo, and I just think it has a cleaner look to it - IMHO.

I'd pick anything over what is pictured.
S&P or regular tan, imo

When drinking, my S&P grill looks kinda psychedelic. The basket weave looks like a Triscut cracker to me.
