That album came out right when I was learning to play- freshman year of college. I was 17 or 18. Finally felt like I was getting somewhere when I figured out the octave lick in Cherub Rock.

Gish and Siamese Dream are two of the best albums of the 90's. But I never cared for Corgan's voice live. So much better when he sings softly on the recordings. But yeah, they were a big influence on me. Especially as a drummer. Jimmy Chamberlain was the man on those first two albums.
